Welcome to my website! Thank you for visiting my art. I live in beautiful La Jolla, California and have enjoyed painting since I was a little girl. I am a free spirit, open minded, and love to explore, meet people, share ideas, and create art. I have spent many years in the Bay Area, New York City, and San Diego where I have been surrounded by so many beautiful images and special memories.

I mainly use oil paints and I really enjoy using unconventional tools such as squeegees, spatulas, palette knives, brayers, etc. They produce a sense of depth and spontaneity. They make me let go of precision, and rather explore color mixtures, textures, and I feel the results are deeply vivid.

 I am fascinated by so many beautiful things such as; sunsets, flowers, bustling city streets, the human form, and the love and strength of mothers. I paint images that come to mind, or images that I want to interpret and beautify. I attempt to portray hope, optimism, joy, and take you to my favorite places. I also attempt to portray a more complex and diverse world that is ultimately bound by intention and hard work. There is a human conscience, respect, and a certain patience that I attempt to spotlight.  I hope you enjoy them.
